Leonie first came to Melbourne as a language student – and stayed.
Despite lockdowns, she found a new home in Australia and built a new life for herself. Today she lives with her partner in Victoria’s High Country.

CORA – AN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST ON THE GOLD COAST
Cora’s journey took her from Austria to Bali and eventually to the Gold Coast.
Today, she is an Australian Permanent Resident, works as an occupational therapist, and starts her mornings with a surf before work.

HEIKE & CONNER – THE JOURNEY BACK TO A NEW HOME
Heike and Conner took the leap and moved to Australia – for Conner, it was also a return to the country where he grew up.
They arrived in the middle of the pandemic, with no certainty that everything would work out.
Today they live in Brisbane and have both restarted their careers.

Their pathway led them through the Skills Assessment, EOI and a Student Visa all the way to Permanent Residency.
